Dec 23, 2016  Hello NGU Community. I've recently picked up Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix. The two games I've been meaning to mod are Kingdom Hearts 2 - Final Mix and Birth by Sleep - Final Mix. I've run into nothing but errors when I try to use BSD. I'm using BSD 4.7.3 for Kingdom Hearts BBSFM and KH2FM. I've been trying to use this method down below.

   Hello NGU Community. Doll here. I've recently picked up Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix. The two games I've been meaning to mod are Kingdom Hearts 2 - Final Mix and Birth by Sleep - Final Mix. I've run into nothing but errors when I try to use BSD. I'm using BSD 4.7.3 for Kingdom Hearts BBSFM and KH2FM. I've been trying to use this method down below. I've provided my own save from Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix and I will upload a save file of BBS later on.
   This is not a request. I just would like to know what I am doing wrong here.
   Here is the videos I've been using to try to get my save to mod.
   
   This video, I followed the instructions. Now I did this because I wanted to use a modded save. However when I opened the modded save and edited my games.cof and then saved it. The hash key didn't show up. Now mind you I was doing this for Birth By Sleep and I even used Birth By Sleep's official hash key.
   So that's where I get stuck, the hash key doesn't show up when I brute force it and I am stuck at that point in the video and I haven't found a way to get past it.
   However there was another method I used, which was this video. It's much simpler but the cheats don't 100% work. I'd rather just use a modded save and go from there. My save is modded but only a little bit. The cheats I used were from BSD 4.7.4 with an updated cheat registry. Not many of them worked so the only real things on the save I have are the stat upgrade items which were maxed out and Sora is Level 99 but his HP Bar is still that of a Level 1.

   My main issue: I've tried to mod Birth By Sleep, I've only been able to mod it once, but when I even do that I get an error code when I try to transfer it to my PS3 or my PS3 reads it as corrupted data. When I use a modded save BSD doesn't even allow me to decrypt it so I can update the profile on it to my own in order to use it on my PS3. I don't know what else to do.
   This was the save I was trying to use for Birth By Sleep. But I don't know if this save works for both Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix and Birth By Sleep Final Mix. Which is what I thought it was going to be used for, both games. But even in the title it doesn't mention which Kingdom Hearts game can be used with this save. I don't understand.
   
   
   I also tried to follow this video for Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix modding. Still came up dry. The instructions are as follows.
   Detailed instructions
   Download either version of brute force
   Download KHBBS Save Editor
   Find the save game you want to modify on your PS3
   Open Brute force
   Copy save game to USB and put the save game on your computer
   locate folder with the save game you want to modify in Brute force
   Click Decrypt PFD
   Click Decrypt all files
   Open KHBBS Save Editor
   Click Open
   Change BIN to All files from the drop down list
   Double Click SAVEDATA.DAT
   Modify the save to what you desire
   Click Save
   Close KHBBS Save Editor
   In Brute force Click Refresh
   Click Encrypt PFD
   Click Encrypt all flies
   Click Verify PFD
   Copy Modded save to USB overwriting the save on it
   Put the save back on the PS3
   If someone can give me a full breakdown on how to do these mods, step by step I would be most happy. Since right now it feels like I'm using 3 different methods all for the same 2 games and it's frustrating me.
   If anyone can show or find me a simple method to where I can mod both games OR use someone else's save on my PS3 without all this complicated nonsense. Please send me a PM or reply to the thread. Thanks!

   Hey, has anyone done a mod that allows the player to use the Keyblade of People's Hearts (or Keyblade of Heart) from the first Kingdom Hearts for KH 2.5 or Birth by Sleep Final Mix? On a similar note, has anyone made mods for any other Keyblade's, like the ability to use Master Xehanort's Keyblade, and the ability to use any character specific Keyblade's?
